so far i am really enjoying the beta, but some suggestions i would make are this.
1: since Fallen Enchantress no longer uses the dynasty system i think the passage of time should change from each turn being a season to each turn being a day. to me this makes more sense and would allow for #2.
2: if each turn were a day then seasonal changes could have a larger impact on the game. such as if it is winter then the spawn rate of cold based monsters could increase. perhaps special monsters that ONLY spawn in a certain season could be implemented. these could have special loot, that way you would want to go adventuring more for instance during the spring to fight that one nature monster that drops a special super rare drop. you could also have buildings that may provide a bonus all year round but also has a special bonus for a certain season(example would be a fall harvest festival providing an unrest bonus).
3: not sure if the game does this already or not, but if not then i think that quests should be randomly spawned throughout the game at certain intervals. after all in fantasy stories people are always getting into trouble and more nasties are always coming out of the woodwork. it would be neat if the game evaluated what the players and AI were doing and generated quests based on mundane tasks. an example would be if one player were to lower a bunch of land, maybe for each land that is lowered a quest having to do with angry earth elementals has a chance of being spawned. perhaps if a war lasts long enough an enterprising necromancer raises an undead army from it and reeks havok across the country side.
