[CRASH] Desktop crash after placing the game in the background

I have WER dump files and probably FE dumps if they get created.

I just alt-tabbed to open an RDP connection and came back to a DX error and the game closed. I saw sitting at the character creation screen.

hardware:

Dell XPS 17" 2Gen - 8GB ram - i7 - nvidia GT 555M video card w/ 2GB RAM - Windows 7 SP1.
