Alrighty, so, as regards AI difficulty levels, one thing I've always yearned for in a game, but found in very few (aside from EUIII and a few other Paradox Interactive games) is something that tells you how the difficulty level affects the AI (and possibly the human as well). I've seen some games where the AI's diplomacy on harder difficulties is actually smarter (read: more realistic and less likely to fight to the bitter end when it's clear you could whallop it but would rather make peace because every war doesn't have to be a total war). But they don't come right out and tell you that. Anywhere. I learned it from other players who happened to comment on that. Now, we wouldn't need every little detail mentioned, necessarily, but something that gives a general idea of what to expect from the AI at a certain level (stupid diplomacy, moderate diplomacy, aggressive diplomacy, etc.) would be nice. 'Twould help players like me find the perfect difficulty to suit my liking, as I don't like the AI to be a pushover, but I'm not looking for it to steam-roll me, either. I like to play at a slow and steady pace without having to fear a fast-paced AI and without having to bemoan a stupid easy AI that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a nuke.
