I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the problem persists.

However in my old Pc, where I still had a beta of the game, it works fine after updated to 1.1.

So I am thinking that the problem is, in some way, configuration related but I don´t know what more can I do.

The new Pc is in W7 (the old is Wxp), but before the update to 1.1 the game worked as intended.

Please Stardock (or anyone with helping nature), I need your wise advices!

it can´t be the armor because at beginning of the game my units haven´t any, and with a defense of 0 it is almost impossible not to take some damage.

But in my case the hits are always dodged, not blocked, so maybe we have different problems.

Have you tried to autoresolve battles?, and if so, what is the result?. As I already said, in my case the result is always a defeat for the attacker, but with 0 hit points lost. The animation however shows the attacker units falling, but they recover his previous position at the end.

I'd suggest that if you continue to have this issue, post a save game right before a battle that can reproduce the issue into the forum.  That way, Stardock can take a look at it.

Also, I'm wondering if you were using a mod prior to 1.1 that is no longer compatible and may be doing something wonky.

Well, this is really intriguing.

I´ve copied a save game from the new pc to the old one, and the bug is still there ... Then I´ve begun a game in the old pc to copy the save game to the new one, just before a battle, but !, the bug is also now in the old pc, where yesterday it wasn´t.

So I´m afraid that we are talking about a infectious bug.

I´d like to upload the file but I don´t know just now how  to do it, so if someone, STARDOCK specially, is interested in to take a look at it, with the risks that are involved, I´d be grateful for following his advices on how to upload the file.

not exactly loading an old save game but begining a new one. What you say is something that I can´t test because the old save games are from the beta and incompatibles with 1.1 .

Later, when in home, I will reinstall again the game, but removing previously any elemental dir/file to see if the luck smiles me...
