As some of you may know, I've been wanting to play in the community tournament with my friend ABornExile. However, there's been a big change in the way Virgin Media treat P2P connections and I am now no longer able to play a lag free game of Demigod. My connection is fine for say 10 minutes and then my ping shoots up to 900.
The problem is the new traffic management system that throttles peer 2 peer. I am completely lag free in say a server based game like League of Legends, but I am completely unable to play Demigod.

It took a while for me and ABornExile to work out that this was the problem. At first I thought it was just I had been exceeding the fair usage policy. But it's actually that the new traffic management policy just brought out in the past month has been raping me instead :/
Currently I'm still a postgrad student living at home, and there's no way my parents are prepared to change IP provider. And by the time I move out next year once I've finished my graduate professional qualification DG will be dead -___-
Anyway, to end on a positive note. I thank GPG and Stardock for developing and publishing this game respectively. I've had a lot of great times with this game and met some great people.
That's all
