As I understand it all mod files placed in the units folder instead of each mod having its own folder. I recently started working on the Warhammer mod and it occurred to be that if all the mods are placed in the same folder there is a chance that file names and InternalNames could conflict. Perhaps we should create a namespace thread to help prevent the above from happening. Makers of total conversion mods which will have lots of xml files can reserve a namespace prefix on this thread ie wh_UnitName.xml in the case of Warhammer files and InternalNames will likewise have a wh prefix. Smaller mods probably don't have to worry about this as it would be easy to change the file name. This will be a temporary measure until SD gets the mods worked out.
Edit: reserved name spaces are NOT case sensitive we don't want DL, Dl, dL, and dl each being a different mod. Plus a namespace can be as long as needed.
List of reserved namespaces (I'll try to keep it alphabetical):
AIM, CPELF, Djo, DL, DS, DU, ED, EVL, Gnilbert, HF, LOTR, LOTRROM, RB, Robust_City, ROM, RX, SW, THZ, TPC, WH, WS, ZZZHF
