I didn't see any of these in the master bug list thread. Apologies if already reported:
I was able to get in a situation where the turns to discovery for a tech was some bizarre number and the tech never finished researching. After I researched some techs in other categories, I went back and it read 0, did some more research and then it read 1 and I could finish the tech in that category. Like it didn't trigger properly when it was done researching and the variable went negative or something.
I had a sovereign with a cloak and when she put on armor, her cloak disappeared and she was bald. This seems to be a common effect whenever headgear is removed. People should have hair under their headgear.
When playing in a window and click and dragging to move the map, if the mouse leaves the window and then you release the button and then put the mouse back in the window, the game seems to think you still have the button down and remains in 'scroll mode'
Either implement some pluralization rules for groups (so that cavalry doesn't become cavalrys and spearman doesn't become spearmans) or let me specify a plural name of my own in another field.
I had a situation where there was a quest location in a one square mountain pass. If I clicked somewhere on the other side of the pass to set a destination for a non-sovereign unit, the unit would try to go around the mountain rather than use the pass, unless I specifically clicked on the special location and then set another destination from there.
I was given a default 'Guard' unit by the game that had armor that was unavailable to me if I built my own unit. I think this was after researching the defensive conquest tech for Empires, but I'm not 100% sure.
It appears that Elemental does nothing if the window doesn't have focus. While this is probably a good thing much of the time, I'd like it to be able to load saved games in the background while I do something else.
I traded for a Noble hero from another faction and she did not increase the prestige of my cities, not even the one she was in.
Speaking of trading heroes, I would like to be able to see the stats for the heroes available to trade from the trade screen.
If you need more information on any of these problems, let me know and I might be able to provide it.
I have to say, in general, I'm enjoying myself but this feels like playing a really fun beta rather than a completed game. So, a suggestion for next game - have a more substantial 'fun beta' period after the 'unfun beta' to really iron out the kinks. I would likely pre-order a game to be able to play in a fun beta (which is why I'm not overly upset about the deficiencies at the moment - I just think it's below what I'd expect for a non beta release).
Finally, I know this has been discussed before, but I'm throwing on another vote for a more varied magic system with more spells and more differentiation between elements. Then, increase the cost of the spellbooks during character creation to make the decision of which one(s) to take more interesting.
Thanks
