Evening gentlemen of Stardock,
Yesterday while playing I experienced a few troublesome bugs which I have documented here:
Bug 1: The second daughter of my main sovereign got "interactable" at the age of 20 as most of them do (not sure what to call it, but she became available on the map, my first daughter got interactable at 17, is it random?), and to my surprise she had a baffling 40 essence and 5 movement points (which made quite happy to have her). The same turn (or the next one, I can't quite remember) I made a foolish attack on an enemy sovereign and lost two of my best champions. I decided to reload my game from the latest autosave, which (I presume) happened on the turn my second daughter got interactable.
And here's the problem; when I loaded the game up and checked on my second daughter, she was a spider.
Let me repeat that.
She was a spider. And not present anywhere on the map. (I'm sure it said (DEAD) in her stats in the dynasty tab, but I could be wrong).
After recollecting myself I thought it was kind of silly and reloaded the game again.
My daughters dynasty model had now turned into a roaming bandit and was still nowhere to be seen. Now I was certain that there was some memory corruption going on and restarted the whole game.
As I loaded up the autosave and checked the dynasty tab, I saw that her icon was the same as the other babies. "Odd", I thought and clicked on it. The usual big rendering of the model to the top right was now a painted portrait (I'll upload an image of this later today), and no matter how much I advance in the game she refuses to become available on the map. I can marry her off and such (which leads to my second bug).
Bug 2: When I married her off just to see if it worked, and then reloaded an earlier save, she was still married. It reverts to the usual unmarried state if I restart the game.
I am quite saddened to have lost such a great hero and I hope this can be resolved.
Bug 3: I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I assume watchtowers should increase the line of sight for settlements, but nothing happens.
Bug 4: There's been two shards inside my area of influence that are not interactable, and I can't build temples on them. One of them started working after a reload, but the other one refuses to work.
Bug 5: There is a certain area on the map where all pointing will be distorted. If I try to move to a certain tile, it will move my units to the tile above. Can be quite frustrating.
Bug 6: I've seen it addressed in other threads, but sometimes the pan to new quest objectives don't work and won't show the new area.
Most of this happened in what most would probably call "late-game", I had about 10-15 cities, had conquered 4 civilizations and had about 1500 population. Not sure about the number of turns, I'll check later today. I can upload a save file if necessary.
I really like the underlying ideas of the game and wish you luck in your future endeavors. Hopefully some expansions!
Edit:
Bug 7: The faction creator has some weird string errors when choosing appearance for your faction.
