Once or twice I can take it but GRARGH

Why does every patch reset the game options, it's getting a bit annoying

Sure it takes me less than 5 minutes to fix and restart the game once to use the new options but this is going to build up to hours if it keeps up.

I supose it is every pach is over writting some file that stores them, it probably works in conjuction what what ever there trying to fix the bugs.  It is annoying though but i will live through it if it means one day i can play game as it was meant to be.

Talked to the IT guys, and this should no-longer happen with future patches (was a throwback from the beta period).

Glad to hear it - but I do request that perhaps you overwrite the settings ONE last time on the next patch.  Please change the default Tact-Battle Threshold to 0.  I wrote about why in detail here - but the bottom line is that its extremely off putting to new players and I feel that it should be a setting that advanced players tweak instead of resulting in dead sovereigns.  https://forums.elementalgame.com/393217

I have to say I agree with that, I died a few times against a enemy that should have been a 100% win in tactical at the start of the game as well until I noticed that option. Now I just keep it at 0...

i liked option zero i still use it even with the 1.06 ? makes it so i get choice if i want auto combat or not for every combat i enjoy that way it is, but I will make request that be nice to have, is the abilty to turn on or off auto deisnge of units it gets annoying having to retire units computer makes after every research update for warfair. sigh I know life is rough.
