It seems, there is something weird with targeting algorithm for selecting squares. It is works perfectly only when squares perpendicular to line of view (i.e. when you looking exactly from above) or when line of sight close to "right" direction (i.e, when names on cloth maps aligned "right"). But if it is not parallel, when both angles changes, it become more and more difficult to target given square. "Real" targeting area pushes more and more away from "drawn". For 45 degrees from vertical position our square "projected" to half of it's size (so I can select it only when clicking on center or farther), and for 60 degrees it is almost impossible, because "real" square somewhere in the one-two next squares.

From "rear" (with any angle to vertical) it works equal good too:

But from any "weird" angle it becomes tricky. In next screen "real" square with hut begins slightly lower than mountain's edge (and much after hut's visible square ends):
