I like the scrolls. This is one of the more finished looking screens:

What's missing is a picture of the people of the faction you have selected. Since the factions are new and obscure, the picture would be the most important element in describing them. A northern barbarian / knight / a masked guy on a desert.. that would really flesh them out. The crests - cup, crown, helmet - don't tell you anything.
The scroll looks very nice save for the buttons on the bottom. There shouldn't really be buttons on a scroll. But a wax seal would be cool and appropriate to click on, and it could have a little 3d effect as well to hint its a button. The "ding" sound could be replaced with a more of a "thump", like stamping down the seal.
Now this:

First thing that jumps out is the placement of the Sovereign icons. I would place Kingdoms on top, in a row so they are presented as equals, and Fallen on the bottom, likewise in single row. The Sovereign icons look like pins when they should look like they were drawn on the scroll. Love the hand drawn portraits of the Fallen.
The different frames with different color backgrounds don't look too good. If it's a scroll it should look like one. A clean scroll background with some faint arcane symbol would probably look very nice. Sovereign name box also doesn't look like it belongs on a scroll.
The button looks different than in the first scroll but is no improvement. Again, a wax seal that would get highlighted on mouseover would be perfect.
Found one more:

Looks much more finished again. But the buttons to change the options are much too small and hard to click on. Those could be some elaborate arrow-like drawings that would highlight on mouseover. Buttons don't really belong on a piece of paper.
