If you kill 'explorer.exe' under the processes tab in task manager, then click File -> New Task (Run...), then enter 'explorer.exe' minus the quotes and hit the Enter key, do they then display properly?
What I suggested could fix the problem, but it was more for diagnostics. Also, if this becomes a problem, go ahead and send an email to email@example.com.
Been there, done that Dewie, although I appreciate the help. I opened up a ticket from stardock and they tried a few things, but couldn't solve it. They ended up asking me if I wanted a refund, but I still wanted to keep my object desktop so I said no.
For the record though, restarting explorer does correct the issue.
