No vertical scroll bar in TotalCommander's lister

When using WindowBlinds Total Commander's lister doesn't show the vertical scroll bar. Instead of it there is a just one big vertical white rectangle, which is not responsive to the mouse at all and actually paints above non-client area of the window.

Have you tried to exempt TotalCommander from Windowblinds? It won't be skinned, but it won't lose the scroll bar. Of the two, I would vote for the functionality over the look. Sometimes, apps have their own 'skins' or 'personalities'. Have you tried looking for a similar skin? Some apps just can't be skinned correctly by Windowblinds...

Sorry I'm not really giving you much help, but I use different (DOpus) software...

Yes, I have. It works of course. But what's the point? This is the application I use and thus see most often. I actually would prefer it be skinned. But I have to stick with the unskinned version instead because of this bug.

 

Btw, I already have 5 application excluded from skinning.

Strange that Lantec doesn't seem to have the problem. Maybe you should post your WB info from the "About Windowblinds" tab in your config window.

You look up to date. I think maybe you need to talk more with Lantec, or with Stardock Support, because I really don't see why this should be happening to you. Are tour nVidia drivers up to date?

Try just one thing... Press shift and right click on Windowblinds in "My Software" in Impulse, and choose "Verify installation in the submenu that opens.

I have the exact same 'issue', and have seen it for ages - it just never borther me. (I never use the scrollbar in the Viewer)

Vista 32 and 64 bit + XP. All have this 'issue'.

How lucky you are . It would bother me even if I didn't use the scrollbar, because it looks ugly.

It's not skinned, but it is functional. As far as I can find, it's the only one in TC that's not skinned. This make me think it's likely an issue with TC and not Windowblinds.

 

Ghisler wrote TC in Borland and it's not likely that TC will ever have a native 64 bit app (without a complete rewrite). I'd suggest you look at Dopus. It's a bit expensive, but from time to time you can find it about 40% off at BitsDuJour LINK

I don't understand this. An application works fine without WindowBlinds. It means this application has no issues.

The only issue with 32-bit file manager in 64-bit Windows is that you cannot see the contents of the Windows\System32 folder. I don't look into this folder too often, so I don't need a 64-bit file manager. I like TC and I have custom plug-ins written for it. I'd better uninstall WindowBlinds... again.

Heh-heh . This is just a copy of Windows\SysWOW64. Windows substitutes it for 32-bit applications, since in the real System32 are 64-bit executable modules, not exactly what a 32-bit application would expect to load in its address space.
