Hello everybody.
I'm new to these forums, and this is my first post. I've been browsing the forums the past few days before making my account, looking up into Sins. I'll be getting Trinity next week, after I get my Windows 7 Professional Edition. This is where two questions of mine arise.
1) I'm a Mac user, and understand that this is a PC only game. I got Windows 7 Professional under student discount, and will be installing that on my system through Boot Camp, to have both Snow Leopard and Win 7 on my MacBook. So I know that Sins will be able to install on the Windows partition. But hardware-wise, how does my system stand up? I have the new MacBook, with 4 gigs of RAM, 2.26 GHz Intel Duo Core, and an NVIDIA GeForce 9400m with 256 MB of shared memory. (it's an integrated video card, right?). Comparing this to the minimum and recommended specs, I believe it matches the recommended, but I figured I would ask this here, with people who are likely smarter with computers than I am.
And
2) I read about people running Sins under Win 7 64 bit, and crashing within an hour or so of their gaming. I'll be running 64 bit, since I know that my MacBook can handle it. If I wasn't to download or use any mods, is it possible this crashing problem would still persist? (As I have no intention of using mods. I just want to enjoy the experience solo, and gaming cooperatively with one other friend)
I apologize if this was posted in the wrong forum section, or if these are newby questions, but any help would be greatly appreciated for when I have the game by next week. I just don't want to pay $40, only to learn that it won't work on my laptop. =[
Thank you!
