Sadly, It still isn't working.

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64bit edition on my home computer.  I was getting an application error yesterday.  Faulting application ReadyToPlayCore.exe, version 0.98.3561.20205, time stamp 0x4ac4d52b, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x00000000, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x05920ba3, process id 0x16f4, application start time 0x01ca50009a733f8c.

I checked and my Unicode was set for Japanese support.  I changed it back to english american and it's now not giving me an error.

All Updates are installed except for Vista SP1.  For some reason it doesn't take properly, after it gets to phase 3 it rolls back with an error.  I'm now downloading the full pack for another attempt this week.

Let me try to restate the issue.  While using the Japanese unicode support through Regional and Language options, I got the windows error message noted above.

After changing back to English, I no longer receive the message but, the program still isn't working for me.  I'm not getting any error messages in the event log or crash messages noted in the programdata\stardock\readytoplay.  When I click on the logon screen, it immediately terminates the process in the task manager.  No crashes or application errors are being noted.

I'm probably going to just upgrade to windows 7 and see if the problem is resolved.  If not, I'll report back and see if we can figure out what's going on.
