so i recently played a game a 4v4 game and was nowhere near my allies, by myself....i was advent and the guy next to me was tec and he scout rushed me and had lrm for cover...what is a good counter to that since i see alot of people who play tec scout rush....its tough to cover when your advent especially since illums are a tier 3 and the jav is tier 2
Fighters (from carriers) are good vs scouts.
LF are also fairly good at taking them down, but not very good with LRM pressent
Flaks also work wonders. As Advent, you can also use your own scouts to fight back. Vasari will get beaten in a scout vs scout battle, but Advent are on equal footing with TEC in this regard.
Actually, Advent scouts pwn. I thought they did slightly less damage since they're way tougher than the other scouts. Nope. They do as much damage as the TEC scouts.
You are doing it wrong. You should not be having this problem. Advent have the ebst scouts and best light frigates. They can counter any early unit with no research (Illums are an exception, Illuminators will beat your scouts).
