...in my case, caused by Eset Smart Security Real-time file system protection. I've seen people complaining about this problem on few forums. Solution is to exclude %appdata%\fences from realtime protection in you AV.
i've been having lag quite badly with fences.
any other recommendations? i don't use eset.
