Game crash when dread loards arrive.

Ok I got the galatic civs II ultimate eddtion and well works mostly well some bugs in verious forms but the one that really gets me is when the dread lords arrive the movie plays all seems well. Then game crashes when it go's back to the main map. Any idea's?

Did you ever get this problem fixed?  I have the same issue, have been putting up with it for quite a while.  DreadLords appear, the movies starts, then the we get the excuse "sorry but we had a problem and died."

This has been happening before I upgraded my hardware and after I upgraded my hardware which included a format and reload of XP.
