Well if you've ever played DOTA you'd know right off the bat if you like this. The bit of "learning curve", if anything, in this game is knowing when to move your character back -- that is, knowing when you don't have enough life to push forward. The game focuses on team work, knowing when to help an Ally and when to let them die. Obviously, if Oak is about to die, and has that divine god invulnerability, you're gonna let him whop a little, and die, to do the most amount of damage being invulnerable. It's these little nuances that keep the game fresh and make fun for learning all the bits and pieces to the whole game. Apart from that -- PLAY IT! OPEN IT! It's a fantastic take on the side vs side combat thing. The only gripe I have is that the flags and the respawning don't take seconds in real time regardless of lag. If your computer is lagging, or hanging, the 'seconds' it takes to respawn or capture a flag point are about 2 or 3 real seconds for an in-game second. That's kinda disappointing, but I don't know if there's a work around even for it.
Play it. Quick bursts. You'll see what this game's all about as soon as you bash down a Dark Tower with The Rook's giagantic hammer. You'll know why you bought it, then.
