Galactic Civ 2 Dreadlords

I installed GC2 Dreadlords(V1.53) via Impulse and when I run the game I get no text on any of the buttons, options, or anywhere.

Mods are turned off.

Any help?

Fonts not showing in GalCiv II can happen if Windows fails to register one or more of the fonts that comes with GalCiv II.
If you are missing fonts, Please try this link first:
http://sd.stardock.com/mike/files/gc2-fonts.exe

Save the exe to your Desktop and run it from there.
