Hi, I recently had to reformat my hard drive, but before doing so I decided to back up my copy of Galciv (and the expansion). I didn't notice Impulse's backup feature though, so I just copied the game folders from the Stardock Games directory. I was hoping that I could get impulse to start the download, then close impulse and copy the files over, then start impulse again and have it recognise that the download was finished (somewhere along the line doing whatever needs to be done by way of installation) but that doesn't seem to have worked, as impulse doesn't seem to notice the files there and wants to do the full download itself. Does impulse just do the full download to some temporary location, then set everything up? Just running the .exe doesn't seem to do anything, it'll sit there as a process but not actually load up the game, I guess that's because it's not actually installed.

So yeah, is there any way to restore a backup when that backup is just a copy of the game folder? Obviously it's not the end of the world if I have to re-download the game, but I was hoping to be able to play it before my download cap resets. I'm fine with manually adding registry entries, if that's what's needed. Thanks in advance.
