If I apply a bootskin file in BootSkinPro 1.01.025 beta with a double klick, it will not work. It is not shown in the bootskin preview window.
Don't run Vista here but as a start, both bootskins for XP and Vista seem to have the same file ext., make sure you are downloading from the Bootskins gallery not the Bootskins XP gallery.
What if you use the add bootskin from the interface?
And are you sure the new skin is a BS Pro skin and not the XP one?
