Logonstudio Vista - Failed to upload skin.

By Posted July 1, 2008 07:40:59
Your skin has failed to upload.
The screenshot file you are attempting to upload is not valid. Hint: Check the file extension.
When uploading a new skin, a screenshot must also be submitted.

That is the error message I get on the upload page after I try to upload a skin for LogonStudio Vista. The screenshot I want to use is a .jpg image, and I've tried uploading it in three different sizes: 800x600, 1024x768 and 1600x1200 just in case the size was the issue. This is my first upload and the error message doesn't give me anywhere near enough detail to try and figure the problem on my own... In fact, it is completely wrong.

Any ideas? The image is actually just a photograph I took, with the EXIF information still in tact... Would that have anything to do with it?

Cheers,
Blinky

I sent the Admins of Wincustomize a note about this. They will need to look at the file.

You must convert the image into a LogonStudio file using LogonStudio Vista.  You must then upload THAT file and the JPG as a preview.

I have already used LogonStudio to convert the file to .logonvista and I have the .jpg too. I'll go upload them both to my free hosting so you can test them.

Edit:
Both files are available here - [link]
