Bug. I have two also. You can ignore the duplication, it doesn't make no never mind...

'Cause instead of one IconPackager I got two.
And you know two IconPackagers are better than one

Edit: Sorry, forgot to say it's happening to me too.

Same here. One for IP and one for IP4.

No big deal, I figure you just stick with the newer version and the DBA's 'll catch it and clean it up.

Please remove "IconPackager 4" and replace it with just "IconPackager".

WB6 is so labeled,as is IE6,IE7,FF3,Adobe9,MSOffice2007,WMP11,etc.It seems to be a standard practice.Who cares? I don't care which one goes away,but I don't need two.

Yeah, it is a bad practice. Since the name of the app is still IconPackager, Windows Media Player, Microsoft Office, etc.

Since every other app in My Desktop is named without the version number, IconPackager doesn't need it then.

WindowBlinds 6 is labeled as such. Please,I don't want two instances of it as well just because they tried to remove the number.

Nope. WindowBlinds is named WindowBlinds only. If they fucked up because the renamed the app, they are bad at their work. Regardless the reason, no need for the app name to contain a version number.

No biggy, right click hide application, tada! all gone.
For the record I hide IconPackager and left IconPackager 4 in Impulse.

Do I really need to do this? I didn't like it! They (StarDock) have to fix it, so I'm waiting... AND WAITING A LOT!

Just kidding but it would be nice to keep the one without the version number like others said.
And for me, WindowBlinds doesn't have the number.

In Impulse it does not, however on the dock,WB is labeled as WB6 and IP is IP4.I have since edited the #'s off of it.

I pulled my cursor to the side of the desk out of habit!
