Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Help! Origional Skin not Re-applied

By Posted May 15, 2008 11:34:59
Help!! I installed WindowsBlinds to try it out. However, when i saw that it was only 30 day trial decided to un-install. so i reapplied the "Windows XP Style" from the menu but i'm sure this isn't how my skin origionally looked! Is there a way of running my pc back to before I changed anything with windowsblinds without system restore?

Thanks!!

Edit: oh and it somehow managed to change my firefox theme..... I have no idea how....

Edit 2: Yeah, even my Office Theme has been changed. This is rather annoying..

Windowblinds sets xp back to the default.  If you had edited something there it's lost and you'll have to customize it again.

a lot of times unloading WB reverts windows back to a 'modified' version of classic

once unloaded, you can use the drop down in the appearance list and reset to xp luna

right click desktop > properties > settings > 1st drop down list you'll find "Windows XP Style" / 2nd drop down shows the 3 default colors
