StoryMode?

Hey I recently got SoaSE. I installed it and go to play it when i notice the entire game is just a bunch of random map senerios.... is there any kind of storymode to this game at all... im really hopeing my install fucked up or something....   ;/

No, there's no story mode, just like there isn't for Civilization and a number of other 4x games. It was either include a story or include a lot more testing, balancing and polish. IronClad went with the latter.

A campaign is slated for inclusion in patch 1.1, which is in the works but will likely be a while yet.

You mean the expansion, not v1.1
