Invisible Ships - Crashes - Still?

Ok, I tried doing a search to see if this had been addressed in other topics, but I got the impression that this bug was supposed to be fixed in TA?

Well, I am still getting it. At some point in every game I play (or so it seems) at lease one race will start mass producing invisible ships that, once engaged, crash the client 100% of the time. I know what the workaround is, "play only in icon mode" but I kinda want to play with battles to see some of the new effects and such. And.... I kinda like the little battles anyway.

I did not install the beta for Twilight of the Arnor, so it hasn't come from that. I do very much like what has been done with the game, but it is so frustrating to constantly lose progress when an invisible fleet decides to attack and I'm not even sure I am seeing the icons anymore...

What is going on? Is anyone else still getting this bug?

That sound strange, you could try and download the 1.91 patch if you haven't already done so, but I think it will only fix some tech descriptions.

I haven't seen any invisible ships myself but there is usually a ship in the southern corner of the map which belongs to no one. It doesn't do anything, it doesn't even have a icon when I zoom out, nevertheless it shouldn't be there.

Are you absolutely sure you got the final 1.9 and not the 0.99 build that was up just before it?

I've played a new game now with the Yor and I noticed some abnormalies were invisible. When I built a starbase on a resource that too was invisible.

However, after I saved and reload everything seems to work fine.

But I am betting this is the same bug as RisenStar got, and I've never touched the beta.

It has been happening since a few patches into DA... but I understood that TA was going to fix it.

Imagine my letdown when I seem to keep getting it even though it's been "nailed" for other folks!

I had an invisible starbase in one of my 1.91 games (the only one actually). The base was attacked and then became invisible (it was still there-the little blue halo would appear when I would click on the space it occupied and when I double clicked it would pull up the screen where you get a close up view) until I sent a constructor to it and upgraded it at which time it reappeared.
