Nah I managed to get it working. Updated without problem.

Could you tell me what steps you went through to reproduce your issue?

If you click on SkinStudio in your screen shot what does it say is the installed version? What is the available version? How did you get to this point? What if you close Impulse and repopen?

From what I just updated to today - I see there is an alpha logon studio vista now!
Very nicely done I might add and I've had no issues at all with updates or the differences in sdc.
Being that sdc does give me the info for the logon studio being an alpha...

Must say you people have been working very hard and it looks really good!

Closing/re-opening doesn't fix.

Only thing I can think of is that I installed SKS5 from SDC to import an MSStyle.

ok so i installed impulse, and everyhting updates correctly but the windowblinds program. I try to update it and it goes through the whole update, then installs, but then wants to update the same thing agian like it didn't update at all. What should i do? I hope that made sense. lol

The stuff I quoted in #1 was from the "So you want to try out Impulse?" thread (since locked). I was using the beta (fully updated) but it refused to actually install the updates it had downloaded. Would go to "Installing....." and just hang, had to exit the program and do the updates in SDC.

All I did was uninstall that version (via control panel since there was no uninstaller) and then install the new version. That was it.

Bug Report

Latest Impulse build, updated

The Registrations tab shows the MyColors Quest desktop as a current registration, but My Desktop/Themes shows 'You own no applications in this category'.

The MyColors app does show Quest

Will there be a fix to us that are using a "proxy"?
This was the main reason I and others couldn't get past the "log-in" screen.
I have to keep switching to "Automatically Detect Setting", in internet options, whenever I want to open Impulse.

The reason I don't keep it on "Auto Detect" is because it's 100 times slower.
Whenever I open Impulse, and I'm on a proxy, it automatically switches to "Working Offline".

all i get is impulse most close. thats it an error message

Updated to the newest Impulse you linked, but now things are worse than before. Not only is everything still SO slow, but now many of the programs I have installed that were showing before aren't in the new version of Impulse, ie: My Colors and Component Tray. Also, I too have the exclaimation point as quoted above. Impulse shows version 6.00.006 of SKS6 installed and provides no updates, yet the exclaimation point remains.

Component Tray is only going to be supported in the future with Stardock Central going forward. That application has been discontinued.

MyColors was pulled for today until we have a fix for a small issue. It will reappear today.

MyColors, Object Desktop Premium Suites, Desktop Gadgets and ObjectDesktop Documentation are not listed under Impulse.

I saw in another thread on here that MyColors has been temporarily pulled to fix an issue.

Our latest build has new Proxy features. Can you please give it a shot and let me know if it resolves your issues? I just published the latest build of Impulse so you should see an update if you launch Impulse after this post time.

Downloaded the update (20 min.). Even rebooted, just to make sure, but no success. Proxy didn't work. Still switched to "Working offline" mode.
