Build all-attack ships. No defense, and enough engine to get you about. Super Warrior relies on you being able to destroy your opponent with the *first shot*, so you need to make that shot as much of a sure thing as you can.

It also helps to get Eye of the Universe, the ability to swoop in and attack isn't much good if you can't see your target.

@Darquies; I want to make sure that you really understand this ability. Super Warrior doesn't give you the first shot. Any time that you, playing as any race, initiate combat, you get the first shot. Whoever you are attacking then gets the second shot. That is to say, that even if you attack with overwhelming force, and completely disintegrate your opponent, it will still get one 'parting shot'. A particle beam 'finger', if you will. This has the very real potential to cause damage. Enough of these, and you may be destroyed.

Super Warrior changes this. If you have this ability, and enough firepower to destroy your opponent with your first shot, then they will not be allowed to fire back. So...you can go merrily about the galaxy destroying ships and not suffer so much as a single scratch; provided, of course, that you can guarantee their destruction with your first shot. This is what Loupdinour was trying to tell you about the importance of initiating combat.

Thankyou again, no, i didn't know that about the super warr ability, i thought everybody shot at the same time, and the super warr, lets u have the first shot. but if u killed em they couldn't shoot back.

I dont think it was mentioned yet so I thought I would chime in. If you like or want to use Super Warrior, I would recommend adding Luck, and possibly even using the Universalist party for the Luck bonus, as well. It raises your minimum attack value each roll, basically preventing you from rolling a zero when you attack someone.
