Display Bug while Paused?

I've just noticed a bug in the Empire Tree when paused: It happens when I pause the game and have a large number of planets (I had 24) colonized, or otherwise in your empire tree. In that case the bar works, but the new items (the ones that were offscreen initially) do not appear. I don't quite know where to post this, so here it is.

BUG CONFIRMED.

...and it drives me a little nuts in singleplayer when I frequently pause the game to issue groups of orders. I do this paused so I can watch the space battles (yes, I'm a voyeur!). Scrolling simply does not work.

I'm in a large 8-player map at midgame so the empire window is full, and when paused, I get this behaviour:

Because of this behaviour, searching the empire tree is not useful while paused as well. When you unpause the game, the empire tree scrolling feature works perfectly.

Was hoping this might be addressed in 1.04?

[My system - 3.0Ghz running Nvidea GeForce8600GT)
No mods active; only using replacement planetary textures]

(On a related note, I note that issuing some build orders while paused DOES reduce money/crystal/metal stats in your counters, while others DO NOT. Research seems to immediately decrement the counters, but building asteroid mines doesn't, for example. That's not such a big deal as the busted empire tree.)
