1.03 Bug - Large fleet size option not preserved by save games

Hi,

My friend and I are running an MP game online with the large fleet sizes option enabled. We played for about 4 hours everything was perfect. The two bugs we've noticed were:

1. Large fleet size option not taken into account by the tool tip for the fleet logistics.

-AND, more importantly-

2. Large fleet size option is not saved by save games. When we tried to resume the game today. I started at -472 fleet capacity. When I initially saved it, I was at max fleet capacity (with large fleet size capacity enabled).

I've experienced this as well, in single player. When re-loading a save-game, large fleet size is reset. I wound up with -64 fleet capacity when reloading a game. Game seems to work fine with 'normal' fleet capacity... haven't tried with the lower setting yet.

I've noticed this w/ single player before as well. I think there was another thread a few days ago reporting this bug (if it is a bug) - the 'fix' I've noticed is to reset your game options before starting the game, after loading the save game file. It seems that after loading, the game options are all reset to default, so you'd need to go back in and change the options to mirror what they were when you started the game. At least, that works for me in SP. Not sure if that would help w/ MP. Give it a try though if you can.

Yes, that's the fix. The game saves your options fine, but they're not initialized by default when you load the game. You need to click Game Options and then Accept before starting, and it will load with the proper options - you won't actually need to change anything, everything will be correct, just needs to be refreshed.

I've noticed this as well for the "Locked Teams" option.

I've been having another bug with v1.03. When I enable the larger fleet option all I get is the same fleet size as I was able to make previously.

The research infocards aren't dynamically updated, however it does work. At "Large", you get 25% more fleet points from every FP research subject. The easiest way to tell that it works is that you start with 125 instead of the default 100.
