Since I know a lot of you are huge fans of the EncyClanPedia, I figured this would be a great place to advertise our contest - since literally anybody is eligible to enter and win.
I will be awarding Trusted User status to up to
three people who can make the best non-clan page on the
EncyClanPedia! This is a for this week only event (March 11th-16th, 2008), which means I will pick a winner at midnight Pacific Time on Sunday the 16th (about 5 days from now), and declare them for all to see in
this thread!Don't know where to start? First check out our
Help Section and then try picking from the ideas below
Sins of a Solar Empire Races.
Galactic Civilizations II.
Call of Duty 4 Single Player Characters.
Frontlines: Fuel of War.
Unreal Tournament III.
Nintendo Entertainment System Games.
Sega Genesis Games.
Don't like those ideas? Good! Come up with your own ideas to really impress me! The more obscure the game, or game information - the more I'll notice!
Try to follow in the footsteps of great pages like the
Darkspace page - which is a prime example of what Wiki pages are supposed to look like, because it's made up of multiple editors, and not just a single writer!
This means that I'll be watching people's creations and revisions very closely throughout the entire day, and if I happen to notice somebody being such a great team-player by collaborating with other writers, I'll definitely be persuaded to chose that person over the others.
Trusted Users get inside access to future ECP projects - and will be the first in line if we're on the lookout for new staff members. The benefits won't stop there, as there are many good ideas being thrown around on how to reward our Trusted Users and Staff for the near future (Ideas such as Colored Names on the TGN forums, Samples of Merchandise and even access during our interviews!) - so get cracking! You only have 5 days left to create a masterpiece!
Note: You may want to register to make it easier for your creations and revisions to be tracked. Though you can post anonymously - it's easier for us to accidentally overlook your edits if you only show up as an IP, and not as a screen-name.
