CRASH!!!

When I play A large map wit 100+ planets it sometimes crashes.... is it normal? I have a heavy duty system...

 

Intel Quad-Core 2.4 ghz

3 gb memory

nVidia 8500 gt

Eh, big games can do that. Sins is pretty new and not all the Bugs are gone, if it isnt your system it will probably be fixed in a patch some time in the future.

Idon't know I have a AMD 4200X2 2GB Ram and a X1950PRO and I put over 400 planets within five solar systems. Now I just previewed it but it seemed to work fairly well for me minus a little lag. : ) I would prolly check to see if you have the latest drivers for your card too that helps most of the time

I've tried out a 700 planet system before; actually worked. Calling it a slide show would be giving it too much credit however.

Chances are (with many other minidumps) it was caused by a mod, bad drivers, and other applications. It might have been caused by other programs running in the background and sins not getting enough of that cpu love.
