After months of frustration with trying to get GalCiv2 and the expansion pack working again I deleted the entire install directory, and the references with Regedit.
Now I get this error message from Stardock centeral when trying to reinstall:

How do I change the version I am trying to download, or should I? What should I do this thing has not worked on this machine for months.
