Sins crash using VISTA

im having trouble playing sins.

after an hour or more sins will crash (says the game has stoped responding)

im using vista and a 8800 gtx card

as a result i cant realy play online

has anyone else had this problem? and will it be fixed in the next patch?

Yes I have this problem as well, usually at the hour and a half mark. Exits to the desktop with an OS error.

Using Vista 64 and an 8800 GTS

I had a similar problem. Try this hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=940105

Worked great for me and a couple other people on the forum. It has to do with how Windows allocates memory space and once you run out of space the game crashes.

8800 cards will have trouble on vista will have trouble with games that a graphics intensive .Sins may not be that intensive but im sure if you scrolled in on a huge battle .You may have to download some of these hotfixs to fix it.Be aware that if you dont your comp will after a while BSOD and not start up for 20 minutes (i know i had this problem)
