Ok this is but I rant,

I re-installed vista and my bad I forgot to back up email...havent really lost much I can't live without except for my tweakvista activation code. I contact these guys with my paypal cart ID for the purchase and requested my password be sent to me.

After about 5hrs of no response, I get a reply asking me to supply my email address...I dutifully supplied the email address and have had not response until now...I am thinking they all gone home so I have to wait until tommorow!

NOW THE RANT!!

Are you people out of your fucking minds!! just email the fucking code to my account thats listed with my paypal account don't ask me for another level of verification when this is like going to the fucking post office!!

Email takes minutes where I come from...I dont have time to fucking go back and forth with you every couple of HOURS just to get my activation code back!! just send it to the fucking email I have on file and stop wasting my fucking time!! The software is $19 stop being fucking retarded about it. you will only lose customers who dont have time to be beaten over their heads for silly shit!!

anyway end of my rant.

Now Stardocks support please just send me my activation code...and be quick about it and might actually consider buying something else from you in the future.

sorry folks...been off work for almost a week (partially torn MCL in the left knee), so time has gotten a little iffy on me....hehehehe...probably doesn't help that I'm on muscle relaxers and pain killers......

And SD Support rocks! Somebody reset my activation count on a Sunday, over a holiday weekend. To me, that's just going above and beyond the call of duty!

I'd just like to add my three cheers for the Support team. I've had a few problems and questions, and they have always been polite and helpful. On one occasion they obviously went out of their way to talk to people outside their department, as my problem was about the ObjectDesktop CD and it's absence of up to date programs, and they talked to the people concerned, and let me know what they could. Thanks David and Travis.

I agree; Stardock support has always been outstanding, even to the extent where issues (due to my own stupidity) were addressed with exceptional kindness and patience, even at a time of day that I wouldn't have expected anyone to answer. Try getting support like this from almost anyone else, like Symantec or especially Iolo. It is clear to me that Stardock genuinely cares for its customers, not to mention how amazing it is to find that even their pre-release code is quite stable on my system, and I always tinker my way into a dark corner.

Not that I can speak for all of support but I think I can guess that the other two in our department would feel something of the same.

Best gift we could have gotten for the holidays is people telling us that people apreicate what we do. The job isn't always thankless but it is always really great to hear it makes a great difference. I am proud of where I work and I really like the customers that we have (beyond the fact they keep me employed). Thanks very much for everything guys and gals. We will be back at full strength starting tomorrow. So from the Bass, and from what I can assume the Milk and the 'Lander would say thank you very much!

Technical support and wincustomize moderation are two different things.

Uh...that has nothing to do with Stardock Support. You are talking about site moderation, not product support (which is what "Stardock Support" is)- those two are COMPLETELY different.

Before you start insulting, please at least get who you are insulting correct.

Stardock support is the worst support ever on the whole planet I mean it just because I gave my opinion regarding a stupid thing that someone violated the terms and it weren't reviewed a Stardock employee content and the other approval they are deleting each one of my comments!

Stardock Support is excellent in my experience. If your experience is different, why not start a new thread and tell people what happened. Okay?

Basically Huang Choi ranted and whined and posted a couple of posts and lots of replies in other posts bemoaning the fact that someone entered an entry into the AWDream contest when they didn't meet the residency requirements.

It was explained several times that just because an invalid entry made it in, it didn't mean the creator had any chance of winning and would in fact basically be disqualified once the judging started.

each time it was explained Huang Choi would acknowledge, then within a couple of minutes or so post another reply somewhere whining and moaning about the same entry or start another post about the same entry, getting all huffy all over again.

and it wasn't Stardock Support - which has always been good to me, but forum moderation
