Ok.... one of the main reasons i joined and purchase through Stardock is because i dont have to worry about DRM's...
usually there isnt a problem, in fact, i have never had a problem with Stardock until now with this issue. But today i purchased SunAge via Stardock Central and downloaded it (BTW i think its a cool system, just wish i could add my other games to its list and run them through one page like that, maybe a user custom function could be added... anyway back to the main point...) once i ran the game and it loaded up it required a CD-Key.... Naturally i dont have one as i have the game electronically, and i have looked all throughout my folders (as per the Uplink issue, just in case it was dealt with like that) but only found a file called 'Key' in a format my PC couldnt recognise and when i opened it in Notepad found a String of Alpha/Numeric characters which were the right size for the CD-Key... but they didnt work...
what am i supposed to do? it seems a really cool game from what ive seen and read, but i dont like DRM, especially because it causes problems like this. Id rather not get refunded (but as i got the game with Tokens that cannot happen anyway) as i want the game now, so i need a workaround.
In future however, can you Vet all these games so this doesnt happen? or at least put on the Stardock Central and website page a reference to the fact that it has DRM?
i hope to hear back soon.
