Hello -
First let me say I love this product! I'm having a rather peculiar problem that I can't get resolved. First, my environment:
Primary Machine:
Vista Ultimate (32bit)
Laptop
Secondary Machine:
XP Pro SP2
Desktop
Multiplcity Version: 1.2 Professional
Network:
Local network, gigabit switch, primary/secondary on the same switch, machines have static IP addresses.
Multiplicity works pretty much perfectly (except for the P and C hot key issue others have reported, fixed by hitting CTRL ALT).
The issue I have is when I am running a game in (like EVE) - the problem is true in both windowed and full-screen modes, but I think it is easier to describe in windowed mode. Please hang in there while I try to explain this issue

On the primary (vista) machine, if I have the windowed game as the NON-active window, multiplicity works fine - I can transition between primary and secondary machines without incident.
On the primary (vista) machine, if I have the windowed game in the foreground (active) the following is true:
1: My in-game mouse seems to work just fine
2: If I mouse-off the edge of the game window (IE, back onto my windows desktop), the mouse stays visible and works fine on the local box.
3: If I continue to move the mouse to the edge of the screen, the second I hit the edge (where the secondary machine is active) focus switches to my secondary machine - and I can see about 1 pixel width of the mouse on the far edge of the secondary screen become active, but I can't move the mouse on the secondary machine.
4: If I now move the mouse back towards my primary machine, the mouse cursor is sporadically invisible on the primary desktop.
5: If I now (with the invisible mouse cursor on the primary machine) do a single left click on the desktop, the mouse control switches instantly to the secondary machine and I have control of the secondary machine, can see the mouse there, etc.
6: Now, if I move the mouse back to the primary desktop, the point at which it appears creates a "selected" bounding box on the primary desktop between where I re-entered the screen, and where I clicked on the desktop back at step 5, as if I had held the left click button and dragged a selection box on my desktop to select several icons.
7: If I click again somewhere on the desktop, I have "normal" mouse control again on the desktop.
Now, just after step 2, if I click on the desktop to make the game window fall to the background BEFORE edging off the screen to the secondary machine - everything works fine - transitions both ways work, I can see the mouse fine, etc.
I'm running the same game client on the secondary (XP) machine, and have no problems coming back to the primary (vista) machine.
That was confusing to type out so hopefully at least marginaly understandable, I write software so I figured more info was better than less.
Has anyone ever seen this issue and/or know how to fix it?
Thanks!
