Just extract the Zip file into the GalCiv2 main directories Mods folder........

The Tech Tree has been cut down on cost for the first 3 phases of all main catagories so you can properly even the playing field for instance Hyperdrive costs 10 tech points, New Propulsion costs 20, Ion costs 30, then from there the Tech point cost goes to regular standings. Also for the sustom Race I have given them a little more abilities to help counteract the ohter playable races so I hope you find the custom race fun to use I know I do...
The planet quality also varies by the Race you choose..if you choose the Predators you may not have that good of planet quality, but you have good Social and military Construction. The Asgard however have good plaet quality and have good weapons,defense, social, military, and research, as well as diplomatic...so play around a bit and try the Custom race feature and let me know ..There KidGLoves I added a few more for ya
