I am a little confused about the new espionage. I know that investing funds into it, that you get agents but what about information? In original GalCiv2 you got more information on a race the more funds you put into it. Does it still do this? Reason I ask is I was cranking about 50bc a turn into espionage and had almost 10 agents available but still I had low information on the race and it said to invest more bc into espionage to get more information. Maybe I needed to invest more? Oh I also need to say I love the new spys, they are neat.
Also, regarding trade, something I think would be better if changed. If a trade embargo becomes active on a race your trading with, you lose all of your freighters that are on routes with that race. I never noticed this before and think even in GalCiv it is this way? I found this out the hard way, I lost about 10 of my Provision class freighters because of this. I rush built them and payed about 5000bc each, they were not the cheapest freighter class but I got what I payed for. Maybe when an embargo becomes active, the current freighters in route should automatically begin enoute to the homeplanet by default. Losing them hurts! Does this happen when a trade route is cancelled also?
