The thing I'm trying to accomplish with my modding attempt, is to try to balance defense & weapon modules in a such manner that random bad rolls wouldn't have such big chance of destroying very high defense ships, especially when facing swarms of fighters.
I just wanted to try this out, and not by any means I think it is the ultimate way to make the ship combat any "better".
As it is now, it seems that adding a HP bonus to an existing ship module or making a new module that adds HP is not possible. And that is the answer to the question I made
