Wierd Forum Bug

Okay, I went to post a reply on this thread:Link

but it posted it onto this thread: Link

I retried to post and it went on the right thread (the post you see on the "One week=what" thread).

I'm using the latest stable build of Firefox on Win98. I have about 15 tabs open which might be the problem but I haven't had this problem before.

Very often now, when I click on a thread (more often with the first in the list) I am sent to a different thread.

I am using IE, so it is not a Firefox issue.

Had the same thing happen to me for the first time on these new boards. Twice in one day. I use both FF and IE.

One time it happened when I tried to post to a thread that was in "My Posts"

I also had one case where I clicked on one thread in the Game Talk front page and it took me to the thread above it. No I didn't miss-click I was absolutely on the a different thread than the one the software took me too.

Well, I'm not alone, that's a good sign. No one from Stardock has posted on here yet; That's even stranger than the bug.

I got it too.

I bet it's a tabbed browsing/multiple windows issue. I reckon the site's saving our current thread to session or cookie whenever we load a thread, so if you refresh a page before you post to it that should solve things until it's fixed.
