Planetary Class Bug!

Some planets seem to end up missing upgradable tiles.

This bug seems to manifest itself after either getting the Orbital Terraformer (or in this case, getting the Neutral Ethical Alignment).

Both these planets have a higher displayed class than the number of tiles that are avaliable for use. In one case, the planet is 4 short, the other, 3 short.

(And before anyone says anything, no neither planet was invaded with damaging invasion tactics, and the "higher" displayed class ought to be the correct class, as far as I can tell.)

Those images are pretty small. What are the class values?

Oops... those are screenshots... photobucket must have resized them. The class sizes are 24 (diplayed) but 21 (actual) and 17(displayed) but 14 (actual).

And I experienced the same problem in a new game I just started, and it seemed to be focused on planets I'd conquered from other races, once I switched to Neutral alignment and got all those instantly avaliable tiles. (I used Mini-Soldiers and Info Warfare for my invasion tactis exclusively, so there should be no loss of planet quality)

If you need full res screenshots, let me know and I'll grab one or two from my current game and post them... properly so they don't get sized down to useless dimensions.

Actually, nevermind, found a nice one on a planet the Yor just surrendered to me. Says it's a 32, but is only a 23.

I kept the save game if you want it, but here's an image where you clearly see the difference between stated class an actual class.

Bump,

Every one of my planets had this bug today. Has to be a wire crossed between planet quality selection in the ability area and using neutral bonus early in the by researching the xeno ethics and getting all the tiles.

Which brings up the other shortage... neutal gets no added defenses or weapons, yet its still mentioned. And now the tile shortage...

Someone please take a peak at this. Makes it hard playing neutral, doable still, but harder than if I flip flop to good or bad. Switzerland can't have it this bad.

Thanks for reporting this one. If you don't mind I have a couple questions.
Have you updated to version 1.11? There was an issue in older versions where tiles were not given but quality was increased. Version 1.11 fixes this.

If you do have version 1.11 (or later):
Does this only affects planets you conquer AFTER you've aligned as neutral?
Or did you conquer them, then get the neutral alignment?
Can you please post your debug.err file? This file can be found in your /program files/stardock/totalgaming/galciv2 folder.
