Anyone able to get extra large hulls and able to invade minor races' planets?

I am finding two problems:

1, I have research large and massive hulls but only see the same sized hulls in my shipyard construction menu: 55. What am I doing wrong?

2. I have moved transports full of people and soldiers to planets of minor races but can't seem to invade them. They don't have any ships guarding them that I can see, and I have researched planet invasion. Is this a bug?

3. How do I go to the next ship to see if it has movement points left? Is there a keystroke for "next ship.?"

1. I have not seen this. Are you sure you haven't got the 'Medium' tab checked?

2. Not seen this either. Are you having the same problem with majors?

3. Tab Key, or click on the 'Find' button

1. you wont see new ships unless you build them yourself or research all the weapons techs to get a pre packaged ship like a ranger.

2. Did you ally with the race? I think the minor races have no break alliance button.

I don't see any tab for large hulls. All I see is small and medium , tiny and cargo.

1. I am not sure about this. If you have gone into the Shipyard and still can't find them ...

2. You are using troop transports and not colony ships, right? The Invasion technology itself is useless if you don't build Troop Transports to utilize it. Check to see if you have allied any of the minor races in question.

3. As stated above, press the 'Tab' key or click the 'Find' button next to the 'Turn' button (it will glow green when all ships have exhausted their movement points - press Enter to end your turn)

Yes, use troop transports. I have found the minors move heavily defended then
the regular factions. Often having 5-6 ships. Take them out with better ships
and then invade.

Those minors deserve it too. After all, it's your galaxy.

Same problem here. and I realized that the game will not let me use a transport module unless i place it on a cargo hold. If you use a large hull It assumes it is a combat vessle, Try to build a regular transport and I bet you will be able to invade the planet then. See my post about this in the bug reports.
I was Infuriated when I realized my super fast and armored transports that carried 2000 troops were useless
Hopefully this will be fixed in next update but i doubt it
