I get no answer

I did everything what is written with the help of the helpsite and thought that i would get this stupid sig.bin file by email to make galciv2 at my offline computer work BUT NOTHING

..... Even after 16 hours i got no email or answer althoug i did all informations in the email which are important

Citizen LittleJohn: The activation system has been automatic for more than a week now actually. Assuming you've gone through the activation procedure correctly (for you other people out there, that means not passing "1111111" for the product key ) you will receive an automatic response in almost no time at all.

In this specific incident, the activation string you sent over was correct in every way. I can only guess that the response email that was sent from activation had been eaten by a spam filter

I did not get an answer to my activation email either. It was not sent filtered out because yahoo does not block emails, it puts them in the junk folder.

Also, no answer from my email to support.

I have a computer from work wich has a pre-installed firewall I would rather not touch. Fortunately, the game eventually activated itself automatically after I spent several hours fighting with the firewall. I only did this out of desperation. I changed the firewall back as best I could, and I hope I don't get in trouble at work...

For game owners who have internet acess and complete control/ownership over their firewall the activation is no problem. But for the rest of us, the actiavtion procedures are a pain. Users should be given an activation grace period after installing upgrades so they are not locked out of the game while they troubleshoot the activation procedures.

Mine is working too. It takes a few days if you run into problems and that is why it would be nice it there were a 1 week grace period.
