Coplann - What do you use?

I was wondering what you actually use to create your ship files with? I thought I might try my hand at a little creation, but don't know what to use to create the .png and .x files. I would deeply appreciate your input. Thanks for all your hard work!

Thanks for the info @robalis666. I simply overlooked exactly what that was. Having checked it out give me the primary info, but ensues another problem in itself. The cost of the programs mentioned. I'm just a poor boy and can't afford such prices. I need access to like programs, but on cheap (i.e. FREE). If anyone knows of compariable programs please let me know. Gaining access to the ship files is not a big problem, using the B5 Project mentioned.

except for 3DS Max everything I use is free (though you may have a hard time finding some of the programms like LithUnwrap 1.3).

if you want a completely free 3D Modelling suit there is only Blender I think (maybe Anim0r if you want to do animations mainly, but I dont know of a X-Exporter for it).

3DS Max has a 30 day free trial. if you are a student of computer science or something similar (multimedia/arts) like me your university may offer licenses or special deals for certain programms too (for instance I also get free copies+serials for like every single Microsoft Product e.g. WinXP Professional, Visual Studio, Office etc). best part of it I can keep using those when Iam done with studies as long as I dont make profit with it.
