Quick Save load kills starbases

Hi,

I am playing the latest 1.1, and never seen this bug on any version I played on before, not even the betas. I quick-saved my current game (metaverse, so no mods, medium, painfull all, occasional everything), and had 2 mining starbases, the AI had one I was aware of, and now when I loaded it, they are all gone! The resources are there but no mining starbases.

Sure now I am building fast constructors to take them but....

So yeah, bug. However maybe it is worth mentioning that few minutes after I saved my PC blue-screened and had to restart. Maybe the game was not properly saved due to the blue screen.

Thanks for a great game otherwise though.

Hmm, I just realised not only the starbases are gone, but there are no ships in the game...Everybody's military rating plunged to 0.

hmmm, I have been meaning to ask about this. I wonder if it has anything to do with the graph spikes that I have noticed in all the games I have played. Every so often, all my graphs (production, research etc.) spike to 0 then immediately jump back in line with previous point on the next turn. Whether I save or not, this occurs.

Haven't seen the other oddities you describe, however. I am apparantly one of the lucky owners of this game as I have not had any bugs assert themselves enough to crash my machine.

I have seen the main map "scroll right" without being about to stop it, but usually changing screens resets it (one time had to shut the game down).

I had the ship designer window go black on my, but closing and reopening the ship designer fixed it.
