Did I say I switched vidio cards to a 9600 Ati. Pretty sure i Did . The culprit Was beta 17 and 18. I had to remove the game from my system to restore order. then reinstalled game but only updated to 1.1. Had beta version 15 and 16 and game worked well
until updated to next betas.Didn't install any tweaked drivers, drivers are stock, but new updated version. I bought 6200 from best buy for 164.77 4/20/06. Pretty sure these cards are close to that where you live. It's not PNY version. Bfg version. Getting back to Ati 9600 when i installed it went to playing the game and screen went blank when tried to go to game screen. And would not do anything else no matter what I did I believe 1.1 beta 17 and 1.1 beta 18 have code in it which did not agree with my cards
Note.... I said cards. Game Runs Fine now with only version 1.1 Nothing wrong with power supply. New vidio card today
A 6200 nvidia card. which seems to run game quite well. thanks for your support, you must be quite the techie I bow to your Knowledge
