Although I do like Galciv2, one aspect that seems to have been overlooked is the random morality based events and the quarterly reports. The problem is that they are EXACTLY THE SAME as the original in nearly every instance that I can recall. The pictures are the same and the wording is also the same.
Obviously, this isn't a big issue. However, it adds great flavor to the game and its what made Galciv1 so unique compared to many other strategy games (like Civ). I would love to see more varied quarterly reports and brand new random events.
