'Create Skin with SkinStudio'

On right clicking an image

I have just recently uninstalled skinstudio as it wasnt really much use to me.



however when i right click an image i still have the 'create skin with skinstudio' option which obviously is void now so could anyone plz tell me how to get rid of this?? thks.

Two options:
Go to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\jpegfile\shell\SkinStudio key in regedit and delete it. Same with pngfile (I think)

or

Open up a Windows Explorer window (i.e My Computer)
Tools | Folder Options
File Type tab
Select the file type (jpg, jpeg, png, etc)
Advanced
Select "Create Skin with SkinStudio"
Click Remove
Ok | Ok | etc.

Option 2 is much safer . . . but where is the fun in that?

LOL-- especially when you tell somebody to edit the Registry & end with:
Same with pngfile (I think)

Manly isn't the word I would apply to option 1

C'mon . . .I gave most of the answer. A little self teaching is a good thing.

And what's the worst that could happen? XP was MADE to be reinstalled. It's a feature!
